Quantity Surveyor

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

 

 

– Prepare and manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

– Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project-related expenses.

– Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.

– Monitor project progress and expenditures, providing regular reports to management on financial performance.

– Conduct value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

– Assist in the preparation of tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors and suppliers.

– Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms.

– Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and documentation related to the project.

– Provide advice on procurement strategies and assist in the selection of contractors and suppliers.

– Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to construction costs and contracts.

 

 

– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

– Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.

– Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

– Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.

– Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

– Strong communication and negotiation skills.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
